Moon

astronauts Neil Armstrong and "Buzz" Aldrin walked on the Moon
while their crewmate Michael Collins circled above.

Wiley Post
(1898—1935) of Oklahoma was one of the most famous pilots of the
1930's, well known for his flights in a Lockheed Vega named,
"The Winnie Mae."Learn about Wiley Post's

pressure suit and discovered the jet stream.

Will Rogers: Oklahoma's Favorite

Will Rogers (1879—1935) was one of the most
beloved entertainers of the early 1900's. He was a Cherokee-American
humorist who starred in the Ziegfeld Follies and motion
pictures, and kept Americans laughing with frequent radio
programs and newspaper columns. He said, "I don't make jokes. I
